Ever chase a connector around your workbench while trying to solder it onto a cable? How many times has a phone plug rolled over on you just as you zero in on it with the soldering iron? How about trying to hold the plug between your knees while you solder it and your knees?

The newly improved SolderBuddy ACS® holds many different types of audio connectors for you during soldering, including Neutrik and Switchcraft XLR, mini-XLR, 1/4″, mini, and sub-mini phone plugs, phono (RCA) and two types of coaxial power connectors. Newly added is the accessory port for the MAG-3 a 3X magnifier or any future accessories we may come up with. No more on-the-move wires or connectors. SolderBuddy gives you a steady platform for neatly attaching connectors to cables.

SolderBuddy holds the connector for you while you work. The PostNClip keeps the wire steady so all you have to do is solder the wire into the pin. A second PostNClip (available as an accessory) can be sometimes useful to provide additional positioning options or extra stability. If you have to make your own cables, you need a buddy, the SolderBuddy®.
